About the Role
In this pivotal role, you’ll be the first point of contact for students, suppliers, and internal stakeholders across our campuses. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of student services, enhancing student satisfaction, and supporting both on-campus and online learners. You will play a key role in student engagement, offering pastoral care, and coordinating services such as student orientation, visa support, and resource accessibility.

Job Description
What You’ll Do:
Coordinate orientations, workshops, and engagement initiatives for both online and on-campus students.
Provide pastoral care to on-campus students, addressing emotional well-being, homesickness, and multicultural integration.
Collaborate with teams to ensure all students have access to resources like tutoring, counselling, and technical support.
Develop and implement initiatives to boost online student engagement and retention.
Meet with at-risk students and track their progress, sharing updates with the Student Success Manager.
Maintain accurate records, update systems, and ensure compliance with institutional policies.
Organize guest speaker events and networking opportunities.
Provide supporting documentation for work rights or graduation needs.
Address financial hardship queries in collaboration with the Learning Support Manager.
Perform reception and administrative duties, including welcoming students and visitors.
Handle ad-hoc tasks to support the Student Services team or other departments.
What Sets You Apart:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in student services or a similar role, preferably in an online education environment.
Previous experience working with International Students in Australia.
Proficient in a range of computing skills including Microsoft Office suite, Learning Management Systems, and online meeting/webinar software.
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments to address student needs.
A genuine passion for student welfare, with an appreciation for cultural diversity.
