HR Generalist:
With a growing team on the east coast, we're excited to create a new opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist to join us at our Melbourne campus. This newly established role will support our expanding operations, while also providing valuable assistance to our HR team based in Perth. As the only HR team member based at the Melbourne campus, you will oversee all HR operations across our Melbourne and Brisbane campuses. This mid - senior level role involves working closely with EIT’s management team, while fostering strong relationships with staff at all levels. You will play a key role in recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
This role is ideal for a confident and motivated self-starter who can provide leadership and and guidance to staff. You'll take initiative to identify and address issues, solve problems proactively, and help foster a positive and supportive workplace culture.
Main duties include:

Effectively deal with and provide advice for day-to-day staff issues that may arise in the Melbourne and Brisbane Campus, including staff well-being, disciplinary matters and grievances where necessary while promoting a positive and fair workplace culture.

Work with the HR team to ensure EIT Policies and Procedures comply with Australian employment legislation and the relevant awards.

Organise staff social events for Melbourne and Brisbane

Work with the HR Manager to manage and implement PD for Melbourne and Brisbane.
